For maximum impact, Lance will conduct inservice sessions in care giving areas. He believes that employees, especially direct caregivers, respond well to education when work areas become the classroom. Of course, utilizing this inspirational backdrop won't compromise resident rights. Inservices can be scheduled on a particular day, a series of days, or timed to major events like state surveys. Whether he conducts several sessions on the same shift, or presents to several shifts on the same day, most employees will have an opportunity to attend.
